One of each 100 people in the world is living in Turkey, according to a report by International Monetary Fund.
The report says world population has reached 6.9 billion in 2011, and Turkey's population became 72 million as of 2011.
Turkey is the 19th country in the world in terms of population growth, and its share is 1.04 percent from world population.
Turkey's population is estimated to reach 75 million by 2015, and 90 million by 2025. Thus, Turkey will be the 17th country in the world in population growth and have 1.13 percent share from world population by 2025.
According to the report, world population will reach 7.2 billion by 2015, and 7.9 billion by 2025.
China is the most crowded country of the world with 1.3 billion population.
